How to change background in Photoshop

Changing the background in Photoshop is an interesting topic to discuss over here. I would like to say that changing the background in Photoshop. This is the basic and primary level of editing and it’s most demanding in Photoshop. Many types of orders create a client but before touching other portions of editing they want a white or transparent background. There are huge ways that allow us to change the background in Photoshop and also using other software like GIMP, movie, Fotor photo editor and so many. But we would like to choose to do work manually that’s why we prefer Photoshop most. And in Photoshop there are pen tools, quick selection tools magic wand tools that we use on the basis of picture quality.

We would like to disclose here the editing procedure that our retouched follow using this different tool. let’s get started with the tool:

Pen tool:

Using a pen tool to change the background in Photoshop is very handy. Pen tools bring the expected result with a neat and meticulous revision. When we draw the path around the product using a pen tool it has the capability of selecting the portion we want and removing every inch of unwanted detail.

Steps need to follow to learn easily the method especially for the beginner:

Step 1:

First, we need to open the photo in Photoshop and need to create a background layer.

Step 1

Step 2:

Then we need to find a corner and edgy point of the leading producers of the image then click the right button of the mouse and drag it down to the endpoint of the product.

Step 2

Step 3 :

Here we need to save the clipping because if you feel the necessity of changing the clipping portion or want to add some more clipping then it will help.

Step 3

Step 4 :

Step 5

 Quick selection tool:

To change the background in Photoshop every company uses a quick selection tool and it is a popular tool. It’s a little bit time-consuming using it but sometimes retouched feel using it instead of others. The procedure of the quick selection tool and magic tool quite similar. Both of the tools selected on basis of pixels’ color similarity but the quick selection tool capable of selecting a different color in the background while the magic wand tool works on solid color background.

Step 1 :

We need to open the photo in Photoshop and need to copy the background layer.

The third step will be choosing control +shift +I for inverse selection and then we will press control +alt +D  for bringing the feather box. A select the feather 0.3 for having smoothness of the edge of the leading product.

If we want the transparent background we just need to close the eyes of the copy layer that we’ve created at the beginning. If we want color then choose the color and it’s been completed.

Step 4-Quick selection tool

Magic wand tool:

When I was describing the quick selection tool, I tried to elaborate on the magic wand tool in comparison with the quick selection tool. Now, we’re going to describe the process step by step ;

Step 1 :

It’s the most cliché sentence here because the first method is the same as opening the photo in Photoshop.

Step 2 :

The second step will be pressing the shift and right button of the mouse.  We will notice a circle with a plus sign then we will click on the background. The whole portion will be selected and one little thing we need to mention here.  When the background color and the leading product color have a color difference the tolerance should be high. And when the color of the background and the leading product has little difference then we need to reduce the tolerance to select the portion.

Step 2

Step 3 :

Now we need to do an inverse selection by pressing control +shift +i. Then we should control +alter +D to bring the feather box for smoothing the edgy outline of the main product. Then we will fix the main object.
